Brindisa are a wholesaler of quality Spanish food, restaurant chain and retailer.
With greater visibility to Brindisa products both online and across multiple retailers and a growing restaurant footprint, Space 11 were asked to review the Brindisa stores and recommend how to facilitate growth.

We carried out research at their Balham site to understand customer’s views of the Brindisa brand and the current retail offer. We then made detailed recommendations on the role retail should play for Brindisa, it’s offer, store layout and focus for product and design of communications.

Recommendations were to be implemented in phases. Initial low investment changes focused on clarifying the retail brand message to customers, elevating the prepared food offer, which reinforced Brindisa’s wider brand narrative of inspired quality Spanish food and streamlining the retail execution.

Initial changes resulted in double digit growth.

Space 11 are now working with Brindisa to build on the initial success and ensure retail continues to play a central role in building the wider Brindisa brand whilst being it’s own growing profit centre.
